GGT (gamma-glutamyl transferase) is an enzyme measured in an LFT to assess liver and bile duct health. Elevated GGT levels often indicate alcohol-related liver damage, bile duct obstruction, or conditions like hepatitis. It is commonly used alongside other liver enzymes to diagnose liver diseases.
