What is the difference between capillary blood glucose testing and lab-based PPBS testing?

Capillary blood glucose testing, done with a glucometer, measures blood sugar from a fingertip prick and is convenient for home monitoring. However, lab-based PPBS testing offers more precise results, measuring glucose from venous blood samples and is often used for diagnosis or treatment planning.
