SupportA PPBS test requires about two hours to complete after your meal. During this waiting period, you should avoid eating, drinking anything other than water, or engaging in physical activity. Once the blood sample is collected, it takes a few hours to a day for the laboratory to process the results, depending on the facility. Your doctor will discuss the results with you in a follow-up appointment.
