    A Random blood sugar (RBS) test is one method for analysing the level of glucose or sugar circulating in the blood. This test can be done at any point in time. It is to check how well the blood glucose is been maintained.

    Insulin - Random

    Insulin random tests can be taken at any time during the day. Insulin is a hormone that is produced by the pancreas which helps regulate sugar (glucose) levels in the blood. It allows the cells to use glucose as energy or to store it for future use. Usually when we eat, our bodies breakdown carbohydrates into glucose, that enters the blood stream. This gives the indication to the pancreas to release insulins, which signals the cells to absorb glucose for the blood stream. • Hyperglycaemia – blood sugar (glucose) levels that are very high. It happens when the body doesn’t produce enough insulin. If there is no enough insulin glucose cannot get into the cells. It stays in the bloodstream. • Hypoglycaemia – blood glucose (sugar) levels which are too low. That if the body sends produces too much of insulin into the blood and too much of glucose will go into the cells and it leaves less in the bloodstream.

    Thyroid Function Test (TFT)

    Thyroid function test is used to detect for thyroid disorders. This test evaluates the level of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), thyroxine (T4), and triiodothyronine (T3) in the blood. The pituitary gland in the brain produces TSH and send it to the thyroid gland. Thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) that controls the production of thyroid hormones.
