The Dengue Screening Package offers a comprehensive set of tests aimed at detecting and monitoring dengue fever, a viral infection transmitted by mosquitoes. Dengue often presents flu-like symptoms, including high fever, severe headaches, and joint pain, though in some cases it may lead to more severe health issues. The package includes the Dengue Profile using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), which checks your blood for the NS1 antigen and IgM and IgG antibodies specific to the dengue virus. This helps confirm the presence of the virus, which is vital in areas where dengue is common. Additionally, it includes a Complete Blood Count (CBC) test that evaluates various blood components, such as platelet levels. Dengue can cause a significant drop in platelets, and the CBC test, when combined with the Dengue Profile, helps determine the stage of infection and the need for further treatment. Liver Function Tests (LFTs) are also part of the package, as dengue can impact liver function, potentially causing enzyme level changes or, in more severe cases, liver damage. Together, these tests offer a detailed assessment to assist in the diagnosis and management of dengue fever.

In Mumbai, you can easily book the Dengue Screening Package from the convenience of your home, available anywhere in the city.

If you have symptoms of dengue fever or have been in an area where dengue is common, taking a Dengue Screening test is advised. Symptoms typically begin with a high fever, severe headaches, pain behind the eyes, joint and muscle pain, rash, and nausea. If you experience these, scheduling the Dengue Screening Package will help confirm if you have dengue fever.

• Early and Accurate Diagnosis : Dengue can escalate quickly, so the package includes ELISA tests to check for infection, allowing doctors to diagnose and treat early.

• Monitoring Health Changes : Dengue impacts blood and liver function. This package includes tests to monitor blood count and liver health to adjust treatment as necessary.

• Identifying Dengue Among Other Illnesses : Since dengue symptoms resemble other diseases, this package helps confirm a dengue diagnosis, ensuring proper care.
