    Can AMH Levels Predict Fertility?

AMH levels are a strong indicator of ovarian reserve but do not directly predict natural fertility or the ability to conceive. High AMH levels suggest a larger egg supply, while low levels indicate fewer eggs. However, AMH does not reflect egg quality, which is a crucial factor in conception, particularly as women age. It is best used in combination with other tests, like follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and antral follicle count (AFC), for a comprehensive fertility evaluation. While AMH provides valuable insight into ovarian health and reproductive planning, its role is limited in predicting specific fertility outcomes, such as the time to conceive or pregnancy success rates without additional testing and clinical context.
